Novice Bridge Lesson and Play Sessions

These lessons are perfect for EVERYONE!  If you are new to duplicate, just coming out of a beginner or intermediate course, or just need to brush up, these are the sessions to attend.

Every week, a 20-minute mini-lesson is given just before you play a duplicate game.   The play is supervised by an instructor/director who is on hand to answer questions during the play.  Learn something new, reinforce what you know and fill in the blanks where you have forgotten... or, just come to play in our game.

There is no better way to learn, than to LEARN and PRACTICE at the same time!

Intermediate/Advanced Bridge Lessons with Joe Byrnes $20
if you have been playing bridge for a while and would like to advance your play, these lessons are perfect for you.  Joe Byrnes teaches topics such as defensive play, location of high cards, 2 over 1 system, slam bidding, etc.

Join us every Monday morning for a 2-hour lesson with Joe.  Mondays 2:30-4:30pm   (following the morning game at 10:30)

FOR BEGINNERS WHO WANT TO LEARN FROM SCRATCH:

Beginner Bridge Series $20 per class or $125 for 7-class series  (attendance to first class of series is essential!)

Bridge is by far the greatest card game of all, and it can provide immense challenge and enjoyment for the rest of your life. Our Beginner Bridge series is intended for the complete beginner, one who knows nothing, or almost nothing, about bridge. If that is you, read on.

During our 7-week program you will enjoy a 1-hour instruction class with a supervised play session following (optional). Our simple teaching techniques will have you playing bridge at your very first lesson! You do not need a partner to sign up.

Beginner Bridge II Series $20 per class or $125 for 7-class series

Now that you have learned the basics of Bridge, it is time to introduce you to conventions and the next level of bidding. In this course you will learn the most common conventions, like Stayman and Blackwood. We will discuss strong openings, the takeout double and more!

This 7-week course you will include a 1-hour instruction class with supervised practice following (optional). You will be well on your way to playing contract bridge after giving yourself this opportunity to improve your game. As always, no prerequisites to join and you do not need a partner to sign up.

Intermediate Bridge I Series $20 per class or $125 for 7-class series

This course focuses on the art of play, finesse, defense, signaling and improving your partnership communication.

As with all of our classes, we will walk you through an informative 1-hour instruction coupled with coordinating practice hands. Each week, we will further hone your bridge skills and introduce new and exciting information in a fun and easy way. As always, there are no prerequisites to join and you do not need a partner to sign up.
